February is traditionally recognized as the month of love, a time when our collective focus shifts toward the heart. While many of us spend this month navigating the complexities of human love — from the excitement of new romance to the comfort of long-term partnership — there is a much vaster landscape of love available to us. According to the Akashic Record Keepers, we are “ancient travelers,” quantum souls having a human experience on many levels: emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. To truly understand love this February, we must look beyond the surface and explore our Soul’s Plan through the lens of the Akashic Records.
The Akashic Records: A Field of Divine Love
The Akashic Records are often described as a vast “Library of Congress” for the soul, containing the recordings of everything throughout time — every thought, word, deed, and energetic resonance of our experiences. However, the Record Keepers emphasize that the Akasha is not just a storage facility for information; it is a high-vibrational energy field governed by Divine Love.
The Records are overseen by the Akashic Record Keepers, also known as the Akashic Masters. These Beings of Light have never been human and hold no judgment toward the human condition or our various life situations. Their sole purpose is to guide and support us with “unconditional love,” helping us gain clarity into our soul’s unique plan. This Divine Love is the foundational frequency of the Records. When we connect with the Record Keepers, we are connecting to the “infinite power of love,” a space where we are always safe and cherished.
Human Love and the Mystery of Soul Contracts
One of the most profound revelations from the Record Keepers is that our human relationships are not random. Before we are born, our souls create a detailed plan that identifies the other souls we will encounter. A significant part of this plan involves Soul Contracts.
In the realm of human love, many people worry about finding “the one” or a “twin flame.” However, the Record Keepers offer a more expansive and reassuring perspective: most of us write between six to twelve contracts for significant love partners in a single lifetime. We do this to ensure we have multiple options for love, as free will and life circumstances — such as someone living on the other side of the world or already being married — can affect whether a specific contract is activated.
These relationships serve as mirrors for our Soul Growth. Some contracts are “Support Contracts,” designed for souls to help each other on their journeys, while others are “Karmic Contracts” meant to help us resolve old patterns. Interestingly, our family members, including parents and siblings, are chosen for their souls or the specific genealogy they provide to help us reclaim certain gifts, but they are not always part of our original Soul Family.
The Soul Family Parable
The Record Keepers provide a beautiful parable to explain how we individuate from Source and form these bonds. Imagine Source as a high-rise building where a group of souls decides to get into an elevator together to experience individuality. This small group — usually about twenty-five souls — becomes your original Soul Family. As you travel through millions of lives across various dimensions, this family expands into hundreds or thousands of members who are available to support you whenever needed.
This February, as you consider your human relationships, it can be healing to remember that the people in your life — even those who challenge you — are likely part of this intricate, ancient web of love designed to help you evolve.
Why Love Can Be Challenging: Karma and the Soul’s Perspective
We often wonder why love and life can be so difficult if they are planned by a loving soul. The Record Keepers explain that our souls are “large, expansive, and wise” when making these plans. They do not fear obstacles because they understand that life on Earth is short and that every challenge mastered is essential for growth.
Karma is a tool for this learning, not a punishment. We might choose a challenging life to learn profound soul lessons of forgiveness, compassion, and love. For example, if a relationship feels stuck in a “hamster wheel” of frustration, it may be because there is an old story or karmic pattern that needs to be addressed. - Activate the Pineal Gland: Move your focus to the center of your head (the pineal gland), which connects you to your higher self and the Record Keepers.
- Envision the Light: See a “silvery blue column of light” coming from the Record Keepers, surrounding your entire body and continuing into the Earth.
- Breathe in Love: Inside this column, you are held in Divine Love, protected and guided.
Using this meditation can help you feel the “lasting love” of Source, which is especially supportive if you are navigating a difficult human relationship or feeling lonely during this season.
The Power of Forgiveness
Because February is about the heart, it is also the perfect time for forgiveness. The Record Keepers state that “love and forgiveness heal karma” and serve as a “path to awakening”. We often carry “unworthy” patterns or “repressed anger” that block us from receiving the love we deserve.
Forgiveness is not about condoning someone’s behavior; it is about releasing the energy of the past so you can return to a state of Divine Innocence. By forgiving ourselves and others, we “clear karma throughout time and space” and create an energetic opening for more abundance and joy.
Love in the Age of Aquarius
We are living in a pivotal moment in human history—the transition into the Age of Aquarius. This is a 2,160-year cycle characterized by humanity raising its consciousness to create peace on Earth. It is a move from “fear to trust” and from “hate to love”.
The Record Keepers explain that the Akashic Records were largely inaccessible to humanity for the last thousand years, a period known as the “Dark Ages,” but they are now open once again. You are likely here as a “Lightworker” or “Fellow Traveler” to support this transformation. By holding the energy of love in your heart, you raise the vibration of the entire planet.
